Qatar- Kyrgyzstan Relations

Brief about Qatari- Kyrgyz Relations

  • The two countries diplomatic relations were established on 03.03.1998.
  • Diplomatic Representation Level: Ambassador.
  • The State of Qatar has opened its Embassy in Bishkek on 2nd October 2012. The Qatari Ambassador in Kyrgyz Republic submitted his credentials to the president on 30.10.2013.
  • The accredited Ambassador in Kyrgyz Republic is H.H. Mohammad bin Arar Al Nuaimi.
  • Kyrgyzstan has opened its embassy in Doha in September 2015. H.H. Nuran Naaz Aliyev has submitted his credentials to His Highness the Emir on 3rd of March 2016.

  • The visit of HE Mr. Salah bin Ghanem bin Nasser Al Ali, Minister of Youth and Sports to Kyrgyz Republic on 2 – 4 September 2016 to attend 2nd World Nomad Games opening ceremony.
  • The visit of HE Torobai Zolpogarov, Deputy Chairman of the Social Democratic Party in the Kyrgyz Parliament, and the Head of friendship Team with the Arab countries to the State of Qatar on 21 – 23 May 2016 to participate in Doha Forum.
  • The Visit of HE Mr. Mehlis Torganbayev, the Interior Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic to the State of Qatar in 21 - 24 May 2016.
  • The visit of the General Director of Civil Defense Department, Brigadier General/ Abdullah Mohammed Al Suwaidi to Kyrgyz Republic on 11- 13 May 2016 to participate in the 49th session of the International Civil Defence Organisation (ICDO) Executive Board and the 22nd session of the General Assembly.

  • Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Civil Aviation Authority of Qatar and the Civil Aviation Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic in Doha on 25.02.2015.
  • Agreement for Reciprocal Exemption of Entry Visas for the Holders of Diplomatic and Private Passport was signed in Doha on 08.12.2014.
  • Mutual Encouragement and Protection for Investments Agreement signed in Doha on 08.12.2014.
  • Twinning Agreement signed between Doha and Bishkek in Doha on 08.12.2014.
  • Cultural Cooperation Agreement signed in Doha on 08.12.2014.
  • Cooperation Agreement signed by and between Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Qatar and Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, in Doha on 08.12.2014.
